French Club: Children
play games and participate in verbal activities that allow each
child to practice speaking in French. Games and/or activities
might include Hangman, Simon Says, Creating Stories, board games,
etc. Sessions are theme-based and provide the opportunity to hear
correct pronunciation and use the theme-based words in sentences.
A student can participate in this program many times as they will
always see a different theme and activities/games will vary.
SK French Club: A
fun way to learn French vocabulary through games and activities.
This summer program is designed for Senior Kindergarten students
who will be entering Grade 1 French Immersion.
Amuse-Vocabulaire:
This program provides the opportunity to hear, say and spell each
word while looking at the word with an associated picture. The
provided workbook allows each child the opportunity to write the
words and colour the associated pictures. Each session includes
a word game or fun activity. All levels (1a through 1h) are suitable
to both grade 1 and grade 2 students and can be taken in any order.
Additional activities provided in workbook for those who want
to review words at home.
